Tyler - Thomas O. Tyler, III, Excellence in Forestry

This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who has met the following minimum qualifications: Full-time second- or third-year student, must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident, resident of Maryland, and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Awarded solely on merit, essay should be comprehensive and reflect why the student has chosen this field of study and career aspiration. Preference will be given to those enrolled in the Forest Technology curriculum, although Forestry Transfer will be considered. This is a second- and third-year scholarship for a student interested in pursuing a B.S. degree in Forestry from a Society of American Foresters accredited program. Continuation of scholarship into third year is possible upon reapplication and proof of having met criteria.
