This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who has met the following minimum qualifications: Full-time student, must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident, have at least a 2.0 GPA, and state financial need in essay on scholarship application. Immediate family members of the Local 1024 United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America are eligible to apply (this includes the spouse and children of Local 1024 members). State on application your relationship to a member of Local 1024. Continuation of scholarship into second year is possible upon reapplication and proof of having met criteria.
