Smouse - Jack and Dorothy Smouse Forestry Training

This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who has met the following minimum qualifications: must be a full-time freshman student, must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident, resident of the Four-State area, have at least a 2.0 GPA, and be enrolled in the Forest Technology curriculum. Applicant must state financial need in essay on scholarship application. Under the direction of the Forestry Department, student must work 3-5 hours/month at the Smouse forestry training location. Continuation of scholarship into second year is possible upon reapplication and proof of having met criteria.
